A trip back home for Phill meant he could show off the epic south island landscape to his new extended family. They had an absolute blast getting in touch with their traditional side during the tea ceremony and don’t even get me started on the bling! Phill headed off early to the ceremony to wait for the arrival of Serene in her white wedding gown. The cliff’s edge made it all the more surreal. When she arrived I don’t know who was more stunned Phill or all the aunties?
We stayed on-site for the photoshoot at Criffel Station which provided us with an abundance of spots for some stunning photos. The reception took place in Criffel’s very own rustic barn, with some very touching speeches setting the tone of the evening!
To wrap up the night, the guests enjoyed some Yam Seng, with a few amazed onlookers who had never experienced such an occasion!
